see my new thread 'type 3 parts for sale.'

Seller's Name – Kai
Suburb / Post Code – Avalon NSW 2107
Item Description including Brand – see below
Condition – see below
Item Cost - see below

i no longer have the time, space or money for this project.
i would prefer to sell as a job lot. but if i have no interest within a week or two i will part the car out.

the car itself is currently dismantled and not running.
there are some rust issues, mainly at the bottom of the rear wings just behind the doors. i have previously had the sills repaired (they still need more work) and the front wings repaired.

the engine is a later model 1600 with fuel injection, it has a microtec computer and was running when i took the car off the road.

the whole braking system was replaced/upgraded by cbb, with new discs and calipers on the front, a rear disc conversion, and a new master cylinder. it's all setup for late model 4 stud wheels.

all the glass is there, i have a number of brand new seals (i'll list them a.s.a.p.)

i have a pair of rust free doors, a rust free bonnet and a rust free front valance (complete front panel)

more parts than you could shake a bloody big stick at!

seperate to the vehicle i also have:

a set of alloy wheels with brand new yokohama rubber
&
a 1.8 litre type 4 motor, was running when i bought it, i've since taken off the carbs and most of the tinware.

if someone is interested in taking the whole lot off my hands i'm open to offers above $1000 (edited)

the wheels with tyres and nuts/botls will be $sold (the tyres alone cost that much)

the type 4 engine: offers around $SOLD

as i said, i'd rather shift it as a job lot. so if you're after parts (other than the wheels and engine) feel free to ask questions and make offers, but i wont sell parts for about 2 weeks (ish).

pictures to follow...

thanks

kai

(edit) for any offers or questions please contact me by replying here or through u2u. thanks

Thanks mate. A pleasure. did you make the rugby?
Guys heads up I checked this out today and its a great project he is talking it down.
Its almost rust free, straight as a die and has heaps of spares , heaps.
He is selling at a loss so as to keep it all together parted out it would be worth more.
This will make a nice square for someone.
Mitchell
P.S. the hand polished mags with brand new yokos are sensational, great wheels and tyres very cheap. M

thanks for the comments mitchell. i managed to catch about 10 min. of the game in the end, it was packed in the pub!

back to the car....

i had a big tidy up in the garage on friday! i chucked the new doors, the wings and the bonnet back on, it looks a lot more likle a car now!

the seals i have are brand new!
two door seals
a bonnet seal
windscreen seal (the one without the chrome strip in it.
seals for the tail lights
and possibly one or two more i havn't found yet.

the car also has a very tidy carpet (rather dusty right now but will clean up like new).
and an original rear seat.
the front seats are out of a mazda 323 i think.

the b-pillars have the factory cut-outs in so that pop-out windows can be fitted...

anyway, here's a couple more photos...

sorry, i've not had a chance to get the pics yet.

the motor is a standard late model type 3 motor.
the only change is the microtec computer...

hope this helps.

I think the motor is a standard TLE type 3 fuel injected system run by a microtec. ( or wolf or something Kai said)
He may correct me I have asked him to find out also.
I know he is flat out ATM.
As for this project this is one solid square, as rust free as you can get and would make a great project.

hi guys, sorry i've taken so long to reply.

as mitchell said, i've been flat out....

ok.

i've got a pic of the engine, and one of the microtec.
this should clear everything up.

dubrat- what pictures would you like me to send you.
please reply here or u2u me with what you need and i'll get onto it asap.

as for everyone else.... if dubrat doesn't take the whole project i will part it out, it's been over 2 weeks and i've got to get rid of this thing fairly soon.

so, if your after parts just wait a few more days...

kai

Kai I am still keen on the Micro tech , let me know when you know which way you go. M.

Microtech Engine Management Systems
Microtech MT4/LT4 Engine Management Systems

The LT4 is a FUEL ONLY ecu and will not control ignition. It is designed for use on engines with stand alone ignition systems or as a piggy back system that just controls fuel delivery on cars that still retain the stock fuel/ignition ECU but with the stock injector outputs disabled."
