WTB VIC Type 3 Pop-Outs Hinge Section

Hi guys,

I'm after the pop-out hinges section off of the centre pillar of a squareback up to 71 so i can fit my pop-outs to my notch.

If anyone is wrecking a squareback or knows of someone who is in Vic then any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,

Muz

Good pics showing the required missing bits from all OZ built Notches if popouts are to be fitted.

If any OZ built Notch has them in then they have been put in by some owner since 1965. ALL OZ built Notches had fixed rear quarter windows. Over the years there have been quite a few fitted which may lead to the thought that some came from the factory from 1964.

Our OZ built Type 3 was stripped of all the good gear including the paint coverage! The only paint on the inside of the rear guards was what blew through the gap between the guard and body hence the rust problem in that area.

Sorry Dallas,
I ment the hinges for the pop outs where there and the screw threads in the 'C' posts not the pop outs themselves.
I fitted the pop outs.

For those who want to make their own bits for a popout conversion on any OZ built Notches, these are the mounting plates for the latches from 75mm x 75mm x 1.0mm plate.

Best to attach with about six 5/32" (4mm) pop rivets. The "nutsert" body will fit through the holes in the C pillar and the latch is held by standard M4 x 0.7 screws

Will post them on Sat for you Muz.

The holes (slots) for the hinges are most likely there...not sure on that last model. The latches were held on the up to 71 Squares, in fact all Squares, with self tapper screws. Only the Notch had the 4mm metal thread screws holding them. Up to 71 Squares had popouts so the hinge bits are in the B pillar. If you find dead Squares up to the 71 year, cut the B pillar sections for the Notch mod.
