Do circuit cars boil when placed on a bonfire ???

😂

Cool to see another build happening. Single skinning... you're planning on Sports Sedan, yeah ?

airkool_little_bastard wrote:If I had stuck with the original air cooled path it would have taken years & $10,000's to get somewhere to what I wanted. After a change in employment & lack of motivation for all things aircooled to a point where I nearly sold the car, a $500 chassis complete with a fresh running V8 engine, all running gear & decent cage is a way to get back to the track sooner rather then later. This direction will disappoint some but at the end of the day it doesn't really matter what engine it has, as long as I'm going fast & having fun!
I know how you feel with the lack of motivation etc,a few times I have chucked the towel in with mine also...but as u said, get out there and have fun, yeehaa!!!!!

Much cheaper to run the V8 configuration, what happened to the WPVW chassis set up, would be interested if you are selling.

at the end of the day to have a competive track car " improved production class" cost about $20000 tens years ago didn't matter what brand...

Have you thought about moving the radiator out to the rear, then you will have less trouble with the front bonnet?, aesthetics

I think it's cool by the way!

What a pity it's not finished...you could have driven it on Saturday at the Nationals. 😁
I'd rather wear a Beetle out by racing it than by polishing it!

Very nice car and project..
I always thought V8 conversions were the definition for stupidity, but this is neat!

Due to on going conflict with this post on & off the forum I have elected to remove all of the content related to this build & no longer post to aussieveedubbers.com.fuckyou!
When you’re racing, it’s life. Anything that happens before or after... is just waiting.
