no such thing as a pursuit rim is that size, just FYI they came in 15x7 and I do believe there is 16x7 as well.modnrod wrote:This would be the 14"x 5"thingy with lots of holes?
Dunno. 😀
However, these are actual weighed figures from a couple of other rims that would go a long way to giving you a good close-enough guess for freight charges..........
2000s VW Golf 15" x 6.5" steelies (multi-hole type 5 x 112) are 7.4kg bare.
1970s VW Beetle 15" x 4.5" steelies (8-slot 4 x 130) are 7.1kg bare.
1990s EF/EL Falcon 15" x 6.5" steelies (the solid-looking ones, not pursuits with lots of holes) are 9.2kg bare.
Finally, 14" x 6" pursuit-style rims for an old Commode come in at 7.1kg.
2012 brand spanking new Kia 15" x 5.5" steelies that look damn near identical to Porsche lightweight spare rims and have similar offset, are actually lighter than Porsche at 6.8kg each bare.
So there you go!
Phew!
