Yep if you watch Batfink on the ABC about 5.50 pm you will see a cartoon I used to watch as a kid.
And yes the "battleack" is a customised pink beetle. Only in the 70's.

Yep, mysterious cities of gold was an oldskool anime, one of the best anime series ive seen... tried looking around for it on video or DVD and you can only get the french dubbed version and it costs a <-----small-----> fortune!
I love dr who... but that little bratty susan is so annoying! typical troubled lass of the 60's era.

Yeah, manga is teh comics and anime are the cartoon versions, i love anime😀 cant get enough, wish i lived in byron, i woudl but first all of the new agers woudl have to get out:P
One of the episodes of Batfink showed Karate working on a problem with the engine and it was IN THE FRONT- AHHHHHH.
Anyway, love the show as it brings back good memories. Now all they need is Prince Planet and Super Chicken as well.
