It doesn't matter if they can do it but it is illegal in some states.psimitar wrote:Any engineering shop should be more than capable of drilling the new 5 stud pattern or a CNC shop will be more expensive but even quicker to set up and hit go 🙂

It's illegal to drill blank drums and rotors? Obviously re-drilling a non-blank rotor is illegal due to compromising strength.AA003 wrote:It doesn't matter if they can do it but it is illegal in some states.psimitar wrote:Any engineering shop should be more than capable of drilling the new 5 stud pattern or a CNC shop will be more expensive but even quicker to set up and hit go 🙂

Hi Bizarre, where did you get your blanks from? I may have to go the same route on my L Bug.Bizarre wrote:if you do buy blanks make sure you get the "uniform thickness" ones.
Stock blanks are ribbed to a cross so the thick part is only on the 4 bolt pattern.
the ones I had are the same thickness all the way around
