Hi Guys,

I have a type 3 fastback with a 1968cc engine which has been converted to fuel injection. The car has been off the road for years, and I am desperate to get the car up and running again.

I am trying to locate someone who can help me get the engine running and tuned. As the engine has been modified I am not sure who in Adelaide will be able to work on it for me...?

The conversion was originally done my Peter Debiasi, but I don't think he still has a workshop.

Any ideas or suggestions would be very much appreciated.

Volksfest is at Elder Pk, on the banks of the Torrens river this Sunday. The local people that can help you will all be there! Dave

I thought i'd try once more...

I haven't been overly proactive in trying to track down some help, but i thought i would try here again to see if anyone could steer me in the right direction (fuel injection help).

I am even contemplating converting the engine from FI back to carbs so it is easier to work on.

There are a group of Adelaide Dubbers with a lot of knowledge who get together on the First Saturday of the month for Park Platz.
