does anyone know of a company that sells a complete wiring loom for a beetle mine is toast, I have found that to be the cause of the lights inside and on the gauges to bot work as it is fried and spliced from various cars (Volvo, Holden, Mercedes and part original) 😬
Would it be easier to make one my self or purchase it?
Any help is greatly appreciated
Cheers

It is very easy to make up a wiring loom Yourself... MUCH MUCH Cheaper too....
Just make sure You number or letter each wire [so they can be the same colour wires]
The only thing You can't do is have wires with a colored stripe on them like originals... but they all work the same...
always put in extra wires too, as they do come im handy...
Many years ago I found the best way is to use the 7 wire trailer cable to go from the front to the back of You car, it also has a good plastic covering to protect the wires.
You can also pull it apart to get 7 different colored wires...
If You run an alternator instead of a generator, it also makes it easier...
thick cable to battery [or two 4 or 5 or 6mm wires] plus a thinner wire to the alternator bulb in the speedo..
