Introduction

Hi all,

I'm Andrew and I live in Spring Farm near Macarthur and Narellan in Western Sydney. I'm 50 years young, touch of the tism, and a single dad of an AuDHD boy aged 9. My family has been a VW, Volvo, and Saab family all my life. My mom had a blue 1962 Beetle and my dad had a blue 1964 Beetle when they were dating in university. After that my dad had one of the first 5 Porsche 914's landed in St. Louis MO. His was orange. They had a yellow squareback and later a 1978 silver Rabbit (One of my favourite cars in my life and I wanted to inherit it but alas it was gone(sold) when I was 10). Volvo 240DL wagons for mom after the Rabbit (graphite 85 and red 92) and my first inherited car was dad's 88 900S (also one of my favourite cars I've ever owned). Dad had a mix of makes and cars after that but had his green Passat 4Motion for a long time in the meantime.

Recently I was laid off and bought my lifelong love as a daily driver. I'd like to introduce Mary (original name) or Emma Mary "Butterbean" Webster [granny from looney tunes] who is a 1970 Beetle in Arctica(911) white. Her previous owner for 11 years did extensive rebuilds and restoration and previously she was owned by her namesake since 1972.

I've already caught the bug bug and I'm working on child booster seatbelts and anchors for the back seat and the first change was new shoes as she was on 1992 rubber in the back. I'll add pics to my photo section.
