Hi all,

If the retractable seatbelts (driver's and front passenger's sides) are not retracting too well, (i.e. one only retracts part way, the other sometimes doesn;t retract unless manually fed), is this something you can fix yourself by disassembling to mecahnism bolted down near the seat or do you ahve to buy whole new components?

Sorry if this isn't too clear 🙁

I'd pull it apart and see if something needs to be retentioned. If it then doesn't fix it, then buy another.

Ummmm try to repair a life saving device. Not for me. If it was me I would buy a pair of new ones for about $80-$100 each.
Retract nice and sharp and safe.
We bought ours from Volkspower for the Bus. Those ones were $100 each because of the style and how they bolt to the floor.
The ones for my Holden were $80 each as they were more generic.

I totally agree Peter safety first, I just didn't know if could be safely fixed with parts. Thanks too for inlcuding pricing as that would have been one of my next questions 🙂
