Can anyone tell me the original weight (as listed on their rego papers) of a 1970 beetle, in kgs.

If manual and semi-auto are different, both would be handy.

Thanks

The handbook for August 69 VW 1500 says 820Kgs It does not state any differences for a Auto,

I read it on FACEBOOK so it must be true
