Without nick picking you are going to do more "damage" to "originality" with the stripes.
Any purist can always pull the trim out later.
Go for it !!
LOVE leather - yeah i know it sweats, but it looks and smells great!
Colour - well, i like the grey. Wont show the dirt as muck as cream and not as sombe as black
Futue te ipsum!!!
LEATHER, LEATHER, LEATHER,
Love it :thumb
Go black with two stripes in grey on the drivers side

leather is a definate go-er. nothing beats the smell of a skinned cows backside.🙂 black with grey sides sounds good.
Save water, drive an air cooled Volkswagen.
leather, but make sure it is done properly and make sure you look after it. black or cream will suit best. leather is magnificent, but if not treated right can look a horror in 10yrs time.

Go for it like they said you can always change it back later!

how much does leather go for these days?
Yeah go for it, unless you are cutting and welding the body or modifying the pan, things like interior trim, paint colour/stripes, etc etc can always be turned back quite easily.
If you wanted an original car, you wouldn't be running BRMs, or stripes - break the mould :thumb
