Anyone done this before? Pics? Also i am goin to cut off the metal section behind the seats so i can recline the new ones all the way down. Thanks for your help,
Alex.

try and u2u paulr......he has some nice ones from a Honda PRelude (I think) in his kombi........and i think it is reasonably straitforward for at least one of the seats (the other needs a few bolts)

At the Perth DOVW I met a guy you had put in some seats from a Jap car - i think it was a Mazda .... but they apparently fitted straight in ... though the passenger seat needed an extra fitment - but apparently it was really easy to get it in - and let me tell you they made the kombi look that much ...ummm quicker 😀

My Kombi mechanic has 81 falcon seats in his. He told me if I new how to drill 8 holes and do up 8 bolts I would not have a problem! I am looking for some to as I don't like not having head rests - in case of whip lash.

This has been covered a few times. Have you done a search?

As for compliance, my kombi has seats in it from a who knows what (I suspect a Commodore). They have been welded to the body and the slidey bits welded to the fixed bits so they no longer move forward/backward. It passed the Vic. RWC with this welding.
