I posted this yesterday but it dissapeared. I wont put the for sale thing on this time...

My mate had a beautiful 64 Notch which was pristine except for the paint. No expense was spared on the part resto which he did mainly himself in his mates VW repair shop. He had just got it in perfect condition (bar the respray, and other minor cosmetic stuff) and was going to sell it. He took it out one day and was hit on the side by a speeding motorist... Grrrr...

I am very sad for him, as it was one of a kind in Canberra and was always great to see in traffic.

Anyway, if anyone is interested in parts, check the for sale section, but while you are here, why not leave a sympathy post....

This shi*s me. Some idiot in a box of crap hits your 35 year old car and wonders why your so upset. Thats my only worry about driving or leaving my car any where , idiots everywhere! Can you tell that i have had recent experience of this! Some dozzy twonk with a shopping trolly! How i didn't lose it i don't know! Idiot pond life people that shouldn't be out in public!!!!!!!!

Dozzy twonk.... I like.....

Man, some inbred clown nicked my car in a car park, and I was inconsolable for 5 days and its only 19 years old. My mate had been working on it on and off for 6 years, and had done a significant amount of work. Makes me grumpy...
