Thanks everybody but i would hope that everybody now does not run out and buy towds or towdsters in USA and expect that you will be able to register them with referrence to mine as i will take great offence to this as both myself and Kevin have spent a lot of time in RTA and QDT offices over the years dealing with the registration on this vehicle . So you want to keep it the only one is Australia hey...... I guess you want to keep your investment worth more $. It does mean that you are the only one in Australia to have fun of driving a Towdster. 🙁

Well, that we know of.

Unfortunately I think it is only a matter of time and someone else will show up with one. I don't think you'd even need to use yours as a precedent. I Have read the ICV requirments I think you could get one passed as an ICV if a later model engine (Subaru?) was used. I for 1 have thought about this so I'm sure others have.

The Green Manx of Gunters was passed as an 2004 ICV with a air-cooled donk so someone may even be able to get a Towd through with a VW engine if they talked to the right engineer.

I'm glad it passed, you must be relieved. But unfotunatly since it's such a cool car it's only a mater of time before another one shows up. But I can assure you it won't be me 🙂
