The truth is important. It will set you free
well here goes. this is not my first, i have owned many but i scoof at those who live in their past glories, so i wont want to do the same. this is our 62 splitty. pride of the fleet for the moment, and driven hard every day every where... discs all round, 17s, good stereo, nice motor, safari's and a wicked stance
Simply Cruzin'...
our JnS. bugsie is a combination of my lady's desire for a convertable and for me to yet again put myself in a place of true fun... gret little ride, and has a tendancy to lift all four paws
Simply Cruzin'...
whooop! nifty neville the 72 'fatchick' notch. this is the man. for when the moment hits and you wanna be somewhere and not have the fuss, except for that from a true vw enthusiast, then you go for nevilee. sweet. hmmm does anyone like the rims?
Simply Cruzin'...
now this is new. and i gotta say is a neat little get from A to B. is a little freaky when you jump from the splitty into ths ol'gal. wiht the baby drums all round and the stonkin 1200. it has the shite. best thing is scootin' aorund and watchin the locals trying to find the indicators. god damn i love semaphores.
Simply Cruzin'...
now we gettin into the new generation. this is scarlett. there will be more on her soon, when she is rego'd and cruisin'.

This is Bens 56 Oval
It runs a fuel injected 2.8ltr type 4 motor, linked up to a porsche 5 speed box..
It's got a narrowed front beam, IRS rear, porsche wheels, 4wheel disc brakes and it has a full custom trim.
Anyone going on the DNVK cruise on the 4th of july will most likely get to see this thing in the flesh.
Its a realy nice car.

Here's my late 60's J&S buggy. Won't bore you with specs. Look here if you want them,
http://www.geocities.com/peterwood732/Buggyspecs.html
Should be registered in 3 weeks, fingers crossed.
Klaack built 1641 with mild internals. I loved the car, wish I hadn't sold it but I didn't need a third car. I'll build another one one day.
Possibly the most recognisable baja in Aus or at least QLD is Dozer (it likes to push sand:thumb). 62 bug, mostly standard , stock worn 1500 (i think) and with a bit of luck should be getting a cut and turned disc brake front end out of the country buggy this weekend. I love her but am already planning a successor.

frenzix, thanks mate. It came through on my machine here. Sorry for the stuff up and thanks for the Fix.

twoguns I like those rims on the notch
Here is my 69er, hoping to get some better pics this week.
Here is our little group of lovelies:-
61 Karmann Ghia that will be going soon now we have a 356!
Suzi's notchback - original condition low miler 1500S
71 Bay Window Microbus - nearing completion
61 Karmann Cabrio - soon to receive a turbo engine and Porsche brakes/17' wheels
65 Devon split - all the way from the UK across Africa and my daily driver/bub hauler
58 Porsche 356A - slowly getting there.
We just had a baby 6 months ago, and bought a new house, so apart from the daily drivers most projects are on hold for a bit!
Oh! and I nearly forgot, my first beetle that I still own. Its in Ireland with my folks and gets driven when I visit, and being green my dad uses it in the annual St.Patricks Day parade.
All are runnning, driveable and see regular daily driver use.
Cheers
Steve

Hi Guys
New to this site, just thought I would check out the VW scene in OZ, before I come back in a few months.
This is my 57 Panel, prostreet box, 2180 with Porsche conversion. It's an ex Termite and pest control van with original logo's
Second is my 57 Oval, about to get sprayed Flat black. It's no longer on that pan.
Also have a 66, but only bringing the van and oval back.
