i too use CDex to go from CD to mp3. if youve got a mp3 cd player you are just using nero to make a data disk full of mp3s so its no probs.

The latest version of CDex can be downloaded from:

I used Cdex a few times but when we got our iPod just use iTunes.

it is great.
You can easily convert the cd's and they then have a burn that you make up your own mix and burn it to CD

The add on i want to get for the iPod is the FM tuner. You plug it into the top and tune your car radio into it.

NO MORE CD's IN CARS!!!!

I loose more CD''s that way than any thing else. I reckon i would pay forthe i Pod in 2 years!

I use DBPowerAmp (http://www.dbpoweramp.com/) for ripping mp3s. I've been using it for a while with no complaints. As for then burning them back to CD, any program should work.
