For anyone who may be around, Canni and I (and Penguin and Birchall and...?) will be at VVDS tomorrow afternoon. There also maybe a Krispy Kreme visit during the evening 🙂

Wolf has/had a burnt valve/piston cylinder? (showing my lack of mechanical knowledge here). Unfortunately this means my tax return which was going to save me from the financial doldrums is now going on Wolf's engine 🙁 Oh well. At least it happened now and not on the way to Valla!!!!!!!!
Hopefully by this time tomorrow Canni and I will be most of the way back to Melbourne.

The Wolf had number 3 pistion burnt, which allowed the crankcase to pressureise and force oil out the oil breather and all over the engine.
dont worry he has a new set of pistons and barrells fitted now... and has good compression on all 4 cylinders.

So after all that, if anyone wants T-shirts/bibs etc for neices/nephews/sons/daughters etc (small kids) buy them from her at Valla. I daresay she needs the business to help pay for Wolfs surgery!!!

Dave - yes thankyou. The return trip was much smoother, just very slow. And with a fair amount of paranoia.
I'm booked in to get my tappets adjusted and oil changed, since I have a new engine practically :-|
Just need to sort the oil cooler, and a new 1500 gearbox. *sigh*
