HELP PLEASE...cant log on at home

Just had my hard drive formatted so had to load all software back on.
Problem now is I can't log on with my home computer.
The log in page comes up....put in user name and pass word
It has a bit of a think and then just refreshes the page back to the same log in page.
I can read posts ok but can't log in.

Any ideas.

PS i'm am fairly computer illiterate....:blush

check the clock. for some reason that happened to me a while ago.....if the time is in the future, it wont log on!

but you have prolly thought of that!

Thanks..I wouldn't have thought of that but i'll give it a try.

If you continue to get stuck, please post here again. What often works for me is to use the Login page:

http://www.aussieveedubbers.com/forum/misc.php?action=login

and click "Increased Security" as one of the options.

do you log on to the forum on another computer?
chances are you haven't logged off on that one.
you can't be logged on on two different computers at the same time.
I had this same prob recently, had me stumped too.
All the problem was, I hadn't logged off the work computer, and therefore couldn't log on at home.🙂

Most people seem normal, till you get to know them.

I stay logged on all over the place and this doesn't seem to effect me.

couldn't try anything cause now modem is playing up
