NEED HELP!! been tryin to post photos for days!!! SOLVED!!!

alrighty, i apologise for making the wise men and ladies repeat themselves yet again, however i've searched previous posts and i'm still stuck!! arrghh!!! ~hair ripped out~

i have Irfan View, so i can reduce a pic to 150x112 pixels to bring it below 50kb
i have photobucket to host

but i want to be able to post pics bigger then a thumbnail like everyone else can seem to. so i need to save the pics with a clarity (or something like that, cant quite remember) of like 60 or 70 or something...... i can find anywhere to do this.

i've tried paint, i tried downloading photoshop but cant seem to get it work....

PLEASE HELP!!! i'm going nuts now!!! want to throw my monitor at my boss!!! :cry:cry

Ok so you have photobucket"""" is the photo working on that site ? if so are you copy/paste the photo or the link ?????
(under the photo copy the IMG link and Paste it) :duh:thumb

try indstead of reducing teh pixels, just reduce the size. I use ms photo editor on xp, and juts say 50% original size and check toi make sure this is under 50kb.

I have no sympathy for my car, only the wallet that pays for it!

You have the best programme for this - Irfanview.

Open your picture
then image resive to say 600 x 400 or 400 x 300 or something that is half decent
then save as a JPG
When you do this there is either an options or a second window pops up

here you have a Save Quality slider. Set this to about 60-75%

I can get all my pics to about 25kB this way

HALLELUJIAH!!! WOOOHOOO!!!! I CAN DO IT!!!! special thanks to blue74l and thankyou to BiX and Desert Moose!!! in ifraview i was'nt using disc icon to save, but the save as option under the file heading. when you go this way it doesnt give you those options to save as file type or pic quality!! now i can do it!! woohoo!!! thanks!!!!

It does bulk at once. You down load your camerea into a directory. Then you resize the whole directory at once.
