I would think it would be a great idea if there was a listing of Vw motor builds
Ie 1776 cc motor how too build ?
most of the guys jump in and help all who ask .I know we have some real smart guys with lots of know how ect .
I just think it would be a great idea and save some good time by all , as if you are building that motor you can go to it .
may be some one can run each motor class , I know the likes of humpty is very wise on 1776 cc motors .
There will be some motors that guys will not talk about tricks of trade ,but we can over come that but chat .
This may catch on in other topics .
just asking all seagull

Looking for that special lady : PM me for coffee & cake
yeah. i think this may be a good thing to start up. cos i am sure there are other people like me out there who are interested in building a good motor but just dont know where to start.
Get an EV designated 1.8L 8V GTI motor, and you wont need to do anything....:P ('cept find a way to fit a radiator in somewhere, spend many sleepless nights working out how the - to fit it in, wait 3 months to pay an engineer to say "yeaaahh, ok, it'll pass...", and then have reliability issues cos the engine doesnt work so well on 6V....)
Remember, it takes 2 to be a smartass...

Not to hijack this post but what is everyones thoughts on a "How to tell" section on splits and beetle section detailing differences from model to model? How to tell whats what so to speak.
I am willing to go through my stack of magazines for the cause...
