The vqdcq entered a few cars in the HSSCQ motokhana. its been a pretty big few weeks, with the club having entrants in a khanacross, buggy day, motokhana, and entries in for khanacross, motokhana, and autocross in the next 4.

Well if any body is interested in motosport in se qld, get in contact with my self or johnyB. the more vw's the better!!!(ps any car will do, a 1300cc beetle will do fine if thats all you have)

me and some of the other members of Shoalhaven VW went and spent the day with Wyane Penrose having a pre-nambucca day.

Wayne got all our cars up on the hoist and went through them to make sure that they were all well enough to make the mamouth trip.

Glad he did cause i found a few nasty suprises which proved humiliating for me but entertaining for the other members. :thumb

they have no useful purpose
but they are fun to watch

This weekend we put in a kickpanel so I can chuck tools under my back seat and they won't slide around everywhere, tacked on nuts so the bolts holding on my en gine shroud won't strip and the shroud falls off in carparks (yes it happened, luckily at 6:00 in the morning so no one saw), put on new spotties and got them adjusted (now i can burn out people's eyes if they don't dip their headlights at night) and we exposed all the evil rust in the floorpan (rusting inside out, stupid carpets) rustkilled it and then coated the floorpan with about a centimetre or more of Duraseal (yeah it's not the propper body filler/sounder deadner stuff but it's a lot cheaper and work just as well if not better, just a little bit more squishy). What's that funny sound?.....oh it's silence!
