I'm going for the old style black and white with VIC at the top... They only give you a choice of numbers between GAA 000 & LZZ 999.....GUB___ was issued back in 1958...so could have gone for GUB 158 and got that but went for GVW 158 which was available instead... 😎
Couldn't get VWT 158 in this style cos it is a future issue number...could only get it in the current standard style and would have cost me $105 more!!:jesus
So my plates will mean...Genuine VW Type 1 1958 model :thumb

Well I have all the tinware removed from the old girl, Its all at the powder coaters getting a nice coating of satin black. I fixed the dodgy inlet manifold, looks like new! and that bloody oil cooler leak sorted that too, so she should be pretty happy about that. Well I hope so anyway!!!
