I don't know Damien....

I believe it only works with a credit card...

and in US$ dollars and 3 other other currencies but NOT $AUS

that may be the reason..???

From PayPal site..

PayPal currently supports payments in U.S. Dollars, Pounds Sterling, Euros, Canadian Dollars, and Yen.

Anyone with a PayPal account can choose the currency of their payment when they use Send Money. It is not necessary for you to maintain funds in a specific currency in order to send that currency; PayPal can handle the conversion for you at the time of payment.

......unforunately no facility to convert AUD (Aussie Dollar)

But it's coming!! When...?

Yes, in addition to U.S. Dollars, Euros, Pounds Sterling, Canadian Dollars, and Yen, PayPal plans to support more currencies in the coming months, such as Australian Dollars

...good news for the future Damien....

I think you need a credit card
as the way i understand Pay Pal it needs to work off a card.
I read it on FACEBOOK so it must be true

I think you can only credit your Australian Bank Account with funds, not add funds to your Paypal account.

Just sell some stuff and get paid via paypal, then you can use the money to buy stuff.

When I used to have My computer set on High Security..
I used to have to switch it off to access net banking etc..
So I leave it switched to medium security now.. [I think...]

but I run Nortons Professional Anti Virus software...
and that works great...

thanks for the info about PayPal and Canadian Dollars as I have to pay a fellow in Canada for some VW oil seals for My semi Auto Oil Pump...
I couldn't get them anywhere else.. [apart from Germany]..
