For all you old VeeDubbers out there. Here is a set of adaptors I used to run on my first Oval back in 1968 with Aunger Hustler 14x7 mags with early Holden stud pattern. When the wheels were on you couldn't see the VW nuts so they looked like alloy brake drums.Anybody remember them????

Yeh....used to have a set that I got of another car i wrecked. Had them for years and gave them to a friend as I had no use for them. Looked good on the beetle but wondered about how strong they actually were?? They are still on the car so they must be OK..

Thanx for making me feel old:vader

G'day,
yeah I had a set of those I got of an abandoned Beach Buggy out in Central North Arhnem Land at Ramingining Aboriginal Community when I moved there in 1981. Sold them a couple of years ago at Day of VW in Melbourne. I reckon they're the best looking adaptors, but these days there's so many wheel options available adaptors aren't used so much, besides there illegal in most states in Aus.
Cheers, Ian.
