I agree, it is the best. Always good buying, and sometimes even better selling.

I'll probably be putting 16" Fuchs on there soon.. Just gotta get the right sizes..

Hi

I bought the wheels from Tassie, only cost $350 + $78 to my door. They are for when I get my new car on the ground, I will be getting some custom 17 inch 3 piece wheels made, so with these wheels I will be able to figue out the ideal offset to fill the guards.

Green57 that's the Georges river down there.

Porsche 944 training arms, spring plates & 944 rotors with Boxster calipers

Factory side popout window
Factory heated rear screen
New SPA tacho & speedo combo, VDO boost guage, SW coolant temp guage
New JVC head unit & used 12 disc stacker, 2 used amps, 1 used sub woofer, 4 used 6 inch speakers
2.1 litre 1986 VW tranporter engine with Autronic EFI, turbo system.

Can anyone tell what the program is, that is used by Many people on ebay...
I bid today on some VDO gauges... and I had been the highest bidder... so I waited until a few minutes before the bidding closed.. and I was too low so I bid My Top amount in the last few seconds..[ after I was asked to fill in My password even though I was logged in and ticked the keep logged in box??] I was the top bidder .. with 0 minutes to go.
Waited for the Winning email --- I didn't win...
Some one had beat Me ?? they hadn't been bidding before...
So it must be the program I have heard about...
Any info ebay people .... I promise I won't bid against You..

Lee its called bid at the last minute with a crazy price if you really want it. Just put in some rediculious price and action ity with 5 seconds to go. Have 2 screen running at once never fails.:puke

Looks like you've ben a victim of 'sniping software' there's lots of them out there, basically lets you watch an auction anonymously and bids for you in the last seconds of the auction, (you specify the time, as short as 5 seconds) therefore not allowing anyone else enough time to bid again. It's kind of cheating, but if someone is really desperate for an item it's a guarantee of winning it, I've been sniped myself before and it's infuriating, but the buyer can always argue that they just timed it right and got lucky, not much anyone can do really. you could always use it yourself if you want to get your own back, but if two snipers go up against each other it can get really silly very quickly

Well, Thanks Pete,
I've been sniped a few times... as I had the highest bid with 0 minutes to go..... and snip .....

They still would have to have a higher bid, or does it just bid 1 cent more???? than the highest bidder a few secs before the end .....

mmm the last thing you want to do is have some ridiculous high amount, only slightly higher than the other bloke. one of my mates used to do that, put in a number followed by 6 or 7 zeros, but one day he paid $1705 for a cd burner...

yeah except when things happen like what happened to me the other day. the ebayer cancelled my bid because it wasnt high enough, instead of cancelling the whole auction, and even then it was cancelled 16 seconds before the end of the auction, not the required 12 hours beforehand. So the guy that bid less than me apparently won it, though it fell through because the person that put the auction up didnt start it at the price he wanted.

Seriously, if you want a minimum price for something, why wouldnt you START the auction at that price, instead of canceling bids?

Very frustrating.

I expect to be banned now as the person that did this is a moderator here.
