hello there
i am putting a subaru ea71 donk in my kombi and was wondering what radiator choices people have used with what success i would prefer to put in on the side with air coming down through the side vent, any help or ideas would be great

cant remember who it was, but one of the guys round here had a couple of tiny custom fab radiators in the gap beneath each of the vents anr reconed it worked a charm. maybe something from a motorbike would fit?

man why would you bother with an EA 71 ? They were a crappy engine in the Subaru and they ar not going to like being in a Kombi.

Ask a few of the guys on here who had them in and you will find they all changed.

If it is just a stepping stone to get a water cooled engine in and then get a better one in later, fine but you will need more cooling with a larger engine than with an EA 71.

You can use a Mk1 Gold Radiator and it will fit inside on each side of the engine. You will need to add some shrouds and stuff. DJ Mechanical at Caboulture does a kit to allow you to bolt them in. Golf rads are cheap at around $195 ea inc new so are good option.
