I have just come across an Oval for sale. Body is 90% complete no rust and in grey primer. Floor needs serious work and the rest is all in boxes. Would 1k be a reasonable price or should I hold off for a better deal?

Hi Mate, in my opinion, when it comes to a car that needs serious work done to it, the purchase price is irrelevant and becomes a small part of a much bigger picture. Lets take this car for example, if it needs full resto (ie body & mechanical work) then you are up for $6 ot $7k anyway on top of the purchase price. Even if you get the car for half price, you only saved yourself $500. What I am trying to say here you need to decide whether the car is worth your efforts or not. Getting it cheaper won't matter in the long term if the car is not a good start.
Good luck
Raf

I see your point. With all of the hard work done I am sure that it will save a great deal of time and cash.
