My understanding of Major Hirst is

he was appointed by the allies at the end of the war to take over the running of the Wolfberg factory

aw yay for asking the question i always wanted to know but was too afraid to bring up........

but now that this revelation has been brought about.....i no longer have an identity crisis........apparently i am "custom title time" ....oh no....what does that mean?????

Didnt Ivan have something to do with the Type 3 ?
by the time the type 3 came around, VW was under the command of Heinz Nordhoff.
