hey got this foward from my brother who is a bmw freak --- i dont check the forum as much lately so maybe someone has already posted it....or maybe its common knowledge and i just live under a rock:puke

the upcoming Show & Shine to BMW Club members who have supplied

Car Show" which we will be hosting along with our annual Show &
Shine at the Brisbane Powerhouse, Lamington St, New Farm. In
order to show those other Germans how it is done, we need you to

Yes it was brought up at the last exec for VWDCQ. basically its the BMW show, and they are allowing other makes to come along and make it a bigger show. Each section VW will be have to arrange their own trophies judging etc. Give sean call thor, as he is talking to the other clubs about whats happening and or organizing things. the cost of the venue is divided up between the different makes and then the cost split between entrants. I belive the VW have 80 spots reserved.

hmm...like i would drive my type 3 there....to be open to RIDICULE.......by people who have lots more $$$$ than me and drive shinier cars......??????????

I haven't heard about it, and it won't be in the newletter until next month. like i said i don't even know if all the clubs know and whats being organized for it. But iam sure sean woud love some help🙂

no worries drew......its fine....i just dont want to help 😉 so as much as i'd love to contact sean about it....i wont because i shirk all responsibility when it comes to events or organising stuff.....heheheh.....the way i figure it is that i am disorganised......so maybe i will show up but i dont want to be a part of any of the "official stuff" heheheh.......
might be a nice way to spend a sat/sun though.....wandering around some lovely german cars by the brisbane river......?

we'll see - i spose it will be brought up at the meeting next tuesday
