DeLorean V6 into SWB buggy???

Well, the same motor used in the DeLorean, and the Volvo, and the Renault, and the Peugeot... I have pretty much decided to put a 2.8 litre Volvo V6 into my Supa Sport short wheelbase buggy, just for sh!ts and giggles... The buggy is already stripped down, cut apart, and receiving it's modifications including electrically adjustable suspension and digital aluminium dash... Now I'm thinking more "oomph" too. What do ya'll reckon? Am I nuts? Or am I thinking straight for once?

OK so it's been updated now, it did say Devonport, Tas...

On another note, is there something in the ADR's or Qld Code of Practice about power to weight ratio (as opposed to the cc/weight ratio)? Perhaps if you built it you could have it dynoed to confirm the output power?
