57Kombi Registered and nearly FINISHED

Yes at last it is regoed, hasnt got a motor yet but here in S.A. you can register it with just the rego number, While I was at motor reg got a private plate, "SPLIT 1" this is white letters on a navy back ground, I thought that polished ally letters on a black background was close so I got some plates made up in England and have fitted them, Hope the cops dont notice, if they do a reg check it will just show private plate SPLIT 1, and hope they dont realise it shouldnt be black. The black plates here are about $240 per year, the plates I got are only $170 for ever. I am just waiting for the wipers to come back from the chrome shop and the front is finished, all I am waiting for is the tinware for the engine, it is getting blasted and then powder coated. I will post more pics when it is finished. Cheers Dave [Edited on 18-9-2004 by 57kombi]
