Does anyone know what the script used on the badges of older cars- the flowing script with the line running along the bottom of the leters is called? I have not had any success finding it on the net and i wish to add it to my fonts for use in photoshop.
thanks-travin

I don't think there is any one font but there are plenty of fonts around that are similar.

There are a few good font foundry packages that will allow you to scan of draw a few letters of a font then it will interpolate the remaining characters. These can be editied then saved as fonts.

Do a search for font software - downoad.com has some that are trialware. I'm sure you can reg-hacks to stop the bitch screens or freeup limitations to the "trial" software (naturally, I am not endorsing the use of warez or cracks, simply making mentiont hat some people do it ;-) .... )

Here are a few I use for badges... These have the strong bottom line. More often than not I just use a nice cursive script and add a bottom stroke or other embelishments as required.

I can email you the fonts if you like any of these four...
