I told my wife it would take 3 months to get on the road ........15 months later......and the budget blown....
It is still a work in progress as I HAD to have it ready by the school hols but got past RWC and had the rear seat and roll bar approved!
Rear end is a bit saggy but I'm getting the spare gearbox and reduciton hubs overhauled and will swap them over later.
Picture is on top of Mount Allen in the Kenilworth Forestry (suny coast hinterland). No problems in the 5 day trial run except it jumps out of first gear going down hill, battery died in the scrub (spare taken from frig, no cold beer for 3 days!),
Seat belt fell onto the battery pos terminal and welded its self there (didn't put cover on properly when I changed the battery! burnt fingers, helpfull advise from wife and kids)
Any way, great fun! Gets lots of looks and the comment is what the!!!!! or I have seen one of these in along time.
For the purests I make no appologies for the fact it is not origianal and I have no intention of making it that way but if any one can give me an idea on how the wipers are SUPPOSE to go I would appreciate it!:party
Sounds good.....got any pics?
