Hey all, Anyone know a good cheap transport company who might bring a car down from Rocky to Brissy for me?
Anyone got any ideas of cost? Its about a 9 hour drive.
Thanks in advance.
Gib
9 hrs- you must be driving an oval. A mate just got his Kombi trucked up to Cairns from Brissie with Coastline at Darra and that cost $600 so it would be considerably less, given that Rocky is less than half way.

I just got my Kombi trucked from Townsville to Brisbane for $320 depot to depot or $380 door to door, also with Coastline. Looks like I got the better deal..............:P

As strange as it may seem it is dearer to get them sent north....We priced getting a buggy from brisy to cairns and it was $600ish from memory.
But yeh I have used Coastline as well and would recomend them.
.
Coastline apparently won't transport non-runners.
if it could fit in bag could get it here. Its a long day trip to retirve something form rocky. Did it last year, left at about 4 with emtpy trailer, loaded and got home by 11 that night.

Yeh.....the cars have to be runners. It is cheeper heading south as it is classed as a backload heading to a major city(Brisbane):party

Bugger, Might we be able to arrange a road trip when it comes back? Might be fun? Im still in talks about the car so its not a done deal yet. Would be mighty nice of you.
I have a couple no methinks, I have another couple coming my way not this weekend, but the weekend after, can you hang on that long? They will be freebies for ya. 😉
sounds good, I think last time i did a trip to yepoon used about $100 of fuel (alot cheaper then). but that was with a lighter trailer. Well once the deal is made give me a call and we might make a road trip of it (have to check, if not you will have to find some form of transport). I know someboddy who will be up there next wens to sunday, but they are being flown up and back for work. The wheels would be great.

So you have a car tralier then? If so sweet, that makes the purchase even more on the cards. cheers, will speak you about it as soon as I have news.
thanks fella. Top Man.
don't count your chickens before they ahev hatched. tralier is easy, but getting the car will be the hard part. Still try and get transport as it may be cheaper than driving up.

It's called Back loading.
Most of the cars go North, most tucks come back empty.
