now would be good, when you have to go for another job in Jan, it will be easier, becuase you will be able to show that you have already worked & are enthusiastic, because you haven't been sitting around for 3 months, there are also a lot of jobs around now for people like you, that will last until end of Jan hols

Have a few weeks doing SFA, then get a job. You'll have the job for the rest of your life so a holiday will not go astray.

i agree with andrew but bonecollector does have a point about the forces as they give the best training in the technical fields. i myself am an electronics technitian in the navy and have only been in for 4 and a bit years but i have an engineering certificate 3 in electronics/electrical, a hydraulic ticket and optic fibre course

I don't like military stuff, but I bet you got payed while you were learning too barls. I, at a conventional Uni, was paying. I've now got a nice 30thousand HECS debt, and am grateful that I got in when I did, what with the stuff the liberals have done to Higher Ed. So Uni was fun, but you do start to think some money would be nice after a while.

1stcarbug take a job once all the exams are out of the way...but leave yourself enough space to chill for a bit after all the hard work...or work hard enough to save for a break before the next study or work load....but still chill a bit

My 3 all worked from 15 yrs ... all through hsc and uni...but always took time off to party as well....balance is the word... d money is great for being able to do lots of things like holidays, going out with friends and having a good time.... buying things they wanted

If you're looking at starting a career next year such as d forces....take a break first...holidays are good for you even if you just hang with the mates at home...unwind

....but only if you've done your work.....you do need a break...cramming can stuff you up bad

My tip...never try to cram outside the exam room or on the morn it interfers with your recall......f### I only learnt that when I went back to uni and read books on study techniques....they helped so much and I threw out old habits .... and distance yourself from people who are trying to cram and talking about the exam they can plant seeds of doubt and get you stressed.....I used to go sit away on my own and try to stop my mind from thinking too much.......

Knowing key words and terms really helps recall....I used prompt cards...could never get into diagrams....It's amazing how a word can bring a whole theory into picture fo you

So yep...my kids used to go out the night before exams so long as they didn't get rotten drunk....that had to be after exams

do what i wish i did when i finished school...
take a year off to work and get some experience in the real world.

dont feel too pressured into figuring out your career path now, youve still got a while to do it, and if you think you want to study "this" for a career now, you'll probably realise you want to do "that" 3 years into it and will have wasted your time.

take a break, get a job and think about what you really could see yourself doing in 10 years time.
in the beginning, the universe was created.
this made alot of people very angry and is widely regarded as a bad move.
