Who do you approach...I've been looking on the Department of Immigration and can't find anything...and their office hours are Mon-Fri...this is kinda urgent
They do have a 24/7 translation service and I'm tempted to ring it....

My sons girlfriends ex bf is in Australia and going very psycho.....He went around to the flat at 4 am with a crowbar and was hacking at the door,,,just missing Simon and Irene....he went away and they went over to a friends flat...the ex came back broke the door in and smashed up the flat....the cops picked him up in Sth Melbourne but released him on bail
Simon hasn't taken out an intervention order so that he doesn't have to give my address away
It's all a little scary....the guy has been seriously threatening Simon...and Irene...but is more after Simon's blood it seems...
Irene's parents are concerned and ring every day.....they'll be here in November

It seems the police couldn't give answeres to the deportation question and when he rang he asked if I could find a phone number he could ring

Immigration are ot available...customs had no other info...hopefully the police this afternoon will be more helpful
Maybe in court they can have him deported..just can't find any online info which is very frustrating...

They're here now...Irene's parents have rung a couple of times...
Irene gave a 2 1/2 hr statement this afternoon...luckily she had a nice cop. The one that went and took pics earlier was hopeless hence the lack of information about deportation.
There will be someone from the Department of Immigration there at court tomorrow....it's sounding more possitive...but he is out and free until court....One of Simon's friends came around and when Irene heard someone at the door she freaked out in a major way....it's been really traumatic.
She is out here studying for a semester and meet Simon in Borneo when he was heading home and she on her way here.....The ex had planned some time ago to be here to do his exam and to travel with her in Australia...but that was a long time ago. He's Sth African and is an adventure tour guide who works the world...he's been working out and bulking up lately apparently..maybe took too many steriods..
They are starting to relax a little now but everyone is very uncertain about if he is going to show..he has been in Irenes flat before and been through her things.....
It's a bit of a story...but it seems that if he can be deported he will be....just hope he shows at court tomorrow and hasn't headed bush...
