I'm currently looking for some unique ideas on how to display my KG.
I'm curreently working on 4 x 5ich gun shells (polished brass) with wooden tips painted like live ammo, with flashy hand made rope work in between them joined by brass eyelets. I intend on using these as a barrier around the car. I've also got a bag of 50 cal shells to scatter around he car and caution mine signs.
Other bits I have used in the past are vintage style picnic set with plastic grapes, cheese, bikkies, wine and glasses etc.
I'm trying to use the theme of "Product of War", but I still need more ideas.
I'm a bit unsure if this will suit the style of car. What do you think?

I reckon all the ammo and shells is a bit full on for a car like that. Personally, considering the style of the car, the picnic set up is more appropriate.
Could you set it up and post some pics for people to look at?

Lee, it's funny you say that, I actually came across these little goodies when I was a gunnery rate. There all legal and aboveboard and I still have the minute requesting the goods.

don't think the ammo theme would be good for a nice kg, mabye for a rat or kuble wagon. WHat about theming from something around the picnic idea. mabye a trip to the beach or the snow?
I have no sympathy for my car, only the wallet that pays for it!

Thanks guys, my wife said the same thing. What she says goes, looks like I'll be keeping the brass goodies for my next project.
