59 fuel tanks didnt have fuel sender units. You can get an aftermarket one from VDO and fit that your self... Is yr car 12 Volts ????

the drop spildles come is 3 basic type

K & L for drum brakes

K & L for discs

and Ball Joint .... so which one do you need.

Vintage in Sydney carries all 3 types. 02-9789-1777 give them a call they can also help you with the fuel tank sender unit and a gauge if needed.
I read it on FACEBOOK so it must be true

just looking & see how much I need to save up guyz 🙂

K & L drum brakes should be the one, I found ones at $450 Brand New.

$30 Fuel tank sounds cool, but not at this stage, I am still looking and see when I'll get the job done. Got no time lately 🙁 too busy at school.

Thanks !!

well, I asked Volkspower, if u need a Fuel Guage (thats what I'm planning to do) you'll need a sender, which in a case (maybe your car has one). For my car, it doesn't so now I need a Fuel Tank with a sender for the guage.

Sender, I guess is some kinda thing that tracks to Fuel consumption down ? anyways... I'll leave this up for someone else to answer....

the sender is the contaption that 'sends' the information relevant to the gauge it's connected to. Fro eg: the fuel sender (mechanical) would measure how much fuel is in the tank via a float (like in your dunny) and then send that to the gauge. If it was temp sender, it would measure the resistance across two points in the sender and tell the gauge...

Dave's probably bought enough stock there to feel that way,

Hell, I should be getting dividends from Volksbahn, and at one time I had enough frequent flyer points from Indian to fly to India...😀
