This headlight has a terminal block for the wiring attatchment and a german Bosche lens, the thing that i am most curious about is the profile of the rim. Where it meets the glass it has a flat step . I have only ever noticed rims with a continuous curved shape. Any ideas?

The original chrome trims had Bosch stamped into the top of the trim. the lense and The bulb holder looks the same as my 56.

most proberly someone has crushed the rim down there very soft and only made of brass
The headlight is pre 60 all electrical terminals were the screw type pictured ... ( not sure exact month / year ) but they went to the later push on type around then
Mate the rim is made with the lip I am sure its perfect evan and simetrical.
