Got no idea what I did on Tuesday but I got a virus warning, then the fatal error bit.
Restarted the computer, EVERYTHING was gone. Totally wiped the pc.
Had to put the serial number of the pc in for it to still do nothing. It had even wiped that.
So now I'm only allowed to play with the computer under spousal supervision.
Well my friends are gone & my hair is grey, I ache in the places where I used to play.

seems to be some nasty ones going around right now.
spent the afternoon trying to rid my friends computer of one that had infected his anti-virus program!
i gave him the choice of 2 three word phrases.

What got to me was how thouroghly the computer was wiped.
Thankfully we use the pc as not much more than a toy, so thgere was nothing important on here.

The only reasons Mac's dont get infected is because there arent many people silly enough to use them. Might as well write a virus for Commodore64. :P
You know a computer system is stuffed when a Mac product (iMovie) cant import a Mac format (.mov) without completely destroying the quality. 😠
Besides, its always good to do a complete OS install, just for practice and... i dunno must be a reason. :blush
