Hi all,
Just a quick reminder (actually, its a shameless plug!
😀 ) that the Gold Coast Dub Club Inc are holding their annual Show and Swap at the Riviera Group Complex at Coomera on the 14th of November (thats this Sunday!)
If you are in the area (or if you are not, but don't mind a drive!
😀 ) we would love to see you there!
The show is public judged (yep, you decide which is the best vehicle in each catagory), and there is a large swap meet area for you to pick up that hard to find (or absoloutly vital) part. There will also be parts and service vendors in attendance.
If all the VW's become a bit much, there is a Bar and Bistro on site who do anything from a cold drink to a full on feast.
You will also have an opportunity to meet up with other forum inhabitants at around 11am at the forum members meeting.
There are several cruises from all around SE Qld and Northern NSW, so feel free to join in.

That's right, IT'S SHOWTIME!! Come one, come all. Everything is already to go, trophies ordered:blush, trand stands organised:duh, caterers ready:puke (only jokin), swappers calling:blah, beer getting cold:beer and fine weather here:duh, well we have done want we can control. Good Question, simple answer it will not rain!!! Seriously, depending on the severity of the rain is if we continue on with it or not. If it is constant heavy rain then I guess we will have no choice but to postpone the event but if it is just showers we will hold the event. Let's just hope it rains all it can for the next few days then clear up.

Yep, this year we have a 'Dog of the Day Trophy' (it's not called that but thats what its for!

As for bringing your own shade - good idea! Those of you who don't have a verandah attached to the side of your vehicle, make sure you bring your hat!

ooohh pooo, just realised i am giving away my secrets here...aaarrgggh :duh lol
....I've got a layer of dog hair through the car (not hard to do with two Golden Retrievers in the back seat and a trip down the highway with all the windows open! 😀 ) and of course the compulsary dog nose and tonge prints on the windows!

was good but sometimes you wish that trade people should know there stuff. got a solid alloy pulley, they had two sizes,I asked for a "Stock" size and get home to find it #@*king wasting my time. 🙁

Sorry 'bout that Robo, I got back from putting the direction signs all around the neighbourhood and discovered that it was all underway too. It would seam that everything was set-up and ready to go so the gates were flung open early....
