Are there any VeeDubbers in Adelaide who live near the Airport and would like to babysit our New Beetle for 24 hours while we fly to Melbourne for the Day of the Volkswagen on 28th November.We live in Whyalla and don't have any contacts on that side of the city.I have yet to check on parking facilities at the Airport but get worried about leaving it in carparks.A friend in Canberra has just bought a new NB Turbo and before it had done 1,000 kms some areshole did about $5,000 damage to it with something like a kife.Thought Canberra had all the intellectuals-obviously not.

Would like to drive it over but have to be back in Whyalla Sunday night.Have got it booked in on the Saturday morning for the ECU upgrade-150 horsepower up to 205 HP.Will have to wait for the trip home to try it out.Anyway not much point trying it out in Victoria-with your max speed limit feels like you could get out and walk alongside it.Over here you can sneak up to 120k's without much trouble???????
