Evening all,

Just wondering if the rust I have found under the six inches of dirt and grim today on the squareback is either expensive or difficult to repair, maybe both?

Cheers

This is on the drivers side pillar... hole about the size of a 10c piece.....

and this near the bottom of the pillar...

Both are holes no larger than about a 10c piece, maybe the one in the bottom is slightly larger....

Any ideas on the cost? To get someone to do it?

I'd also check the insides of the bonnet area , the corners closest to the dash. I'm no expert but got alot of advise on where to look for rust before i decided on my Notch.
Seems this paricular area is prone . If thats what you can see you have to be realistic and expect a few more rusty holes elsewhere. As Frenzix said it is abit a a crappy repair to do . It involves alot of panels , ie doors , guard , front 1/4 etc . Get your screwdriver out , be brave and crawl over your car as best as and see if it needs anymore. May get a better deal if getting it done all in one go?

Good luck!
