dont know but i think there isnt enough shows, i think a day event at eastern creek with shown and shine and drags all in one would be awsome you should organize it:party

I dont want to stick my nose in here but I was talking about this same subject to someone. There are so many events all at once then none for ages. Maybe with the VW scene growing as it is, it maybe time for clubs to start talking and organising a National VW Show Calender. Back in my scootering days, it wasnt until a National Runs committee was formed and a national run calender produced, that turn outs increased, ended up thousands in attendance all over the UK.

Yes Roy I agree.
I know there is a VW event calendar forming trying to put all clubs & other VW related events into one calendar for all to use (as I have been approached to put our events in it).
Maybe something might be done if we try & arrange these so there is something on aleast once a month would be good.
I know picking dates for events is a hard thing to do, but I think it could be done. Space events out a bit in the VW community as most of us know each other & could work together to do this.
Hopefully this could be done at the start of the calender year
of planning....that clubs communicate with other clubs etc
regarding which dates for what month etc.
Then we could try & have a event coming up all the time.
Just a suggestion. (I would be in it.)

yep we need fresh shows with some new ideas i would help out if anyone wants to try to organize something. i would like a drag and show and shine all in one day type thing ,try to please everyone

Good idea Roy - everyone talks about it and until the clubs start communicating things won't happen I heard the VWDCQInc and someone either Bayside or Gold Coast want to join in events or cruises. :bounce
Most difficult thing is getting committed people to communicate between the clubs. :blah:blah

Not necessarily VW but on December 12 the combined coastal car club in Cooroy have Cruise n' Cooroy. A contact number for them is 07 5485 0188. I believe anyone can enter but give them a call, it can't do any harm,
