In all fairness, I may be a mod, but I have never deleted a post, but I have contacted writers of posts (by U2U) to modify, edit or delete a post if it is clearly in need of changing.

The writers have seen that the request is not unreasonable and have done so.

I think this is a fair way and it puts the responsibility back on the writer.

I would think that U2U ing one or all administrators in regards to this may give you the answer you need.

hmmm good idea... it's kindof like being pulled over by a cop and not knowing why, then getting a ticket and him driving off not telling you what you've done wrong.... yes yes it's a little bit of a dramatised version but you get my drift

I hear you, I had a Title changed once and the Mod message with a reason why and I excepted it.

But another time I had thread deleted with no explanation and I was F'n pissed off.

I think it is only fair that you be told why, I mean if they can go through the effort of deleting it a little U2U wouldn't hurt.

I think it's a bit gutless. :thumb

I tried merging someone thread once....they had bits all over the place aboput same thing......lost 1 joke I think...n the string of jokes might have gone arse about....it happens...we all know the programing on these things are not perfect...some weird stuff happening with some threads without interference

nothing much really... but one was about a splitty panel found in newcastle and i was basically expressing its a shame that they stick windows in a double door panel.. who wouldnt agree.... another was the thread about penrith.... i was bagging penrith out ...... because i lived there until 4 months ago... pretty lame really

Okay, Freznix, here's the moderator logs for the last few days. I know the "delete" ones are blank, but that's actually a bug of the software, not part of any conspiracy program.

Individual posts that moderators edit have "Edited by [moderator]" in them. Moderators cannot turn this off.

Individual posts which have been deleted are in this log. When did your post go missing? If you can figure it out, you know who to talk to.

I agree that it's a matter of courtesy that we inform you when we do it. I *always* do it now, and have done so since the terrible days of the naked womens bits. If a moderator is not doing this, please let me/Brad/Jim know, and we'll have a quiet chat with the mod in question.

However, I think you're suffering from software problems. Never blame malice when computers are involved. There's always the strong possibility that something bad is happening. In which case, the right person to talk to is me 🙂

If you note carefully, there's been no moderation at all in the last two+ days. This is excellent for a forum of our size and is indicative of how friendly and useful this place is.

There are some forums I'm on where banning is a weekly to daily activity and posts are deleted all the time. I'm glad I don't run those places.

I'm sure it wasn't deleted on purpose but any one please take care with others feelings regarding their rides or clubs...we are all so different n this is a great comuunity as shown here on the forum...we all support each other

I'm very silly n naughty a lot of the time...but it'S only me who I'm sending up...real or unreal...it's fun n I can take my own stuff n most others of we already have a communication of fun going...I can put shit on others if I know they are into it as well n not take it personally


As per our rides....this is a personal choice.....a lot of of us started out learing on here....some r gun ho stock...other luv the personal touch n power....some like to cruise others to get bogged in mud n sand.....I luv it n respect every ones choice

Yes we do have opinions....but make it constructive for the other person.....not bag them...god I had sleepless nights over whether anyone will take me seriously :jesus

Have no idea...but as far as I know it was probably a glitch in d system
