tonights pet peeves:

tailgaters... im driving fast enough already!!

and why the hell does every new car have to have super bright headlights? im driving in the city and i sometimes forget to turn on my lights its that easy to see... so what the hell are they trying to see? an extra rare species of lizard which happens to be sleeping on the bark of a tree 50 meters away??

*grumble*
in the beginning, the universe was created.
this made alot of people very angry and is widely regarded as a bad move.

Well I work for an interstate Transport Company in the Western Suburbs, (with some really rough Blokes) but no body there hangs shit on My Volkswagen they actually all like it.

But what pisses me off, is when people say things like
"Air cooled Beetles from 58 - 67 are the best Cars ever made, and every thing else on the road is a Shit Box".

Or my 40 year old Beetle / Kombi is better than any modern Car.

I wish they would open there minds, its those kind of attitudes towards other peoples Modern Cars that will make them want to hang shit on your Old Beetle or Kombi.

I have 3 Bajas and I love them, but I also have an XR8.
Since a 40 year old Buggy isn't alway practical.

I also hate Dick Heads who do 95 K/p/h in the right hand lane of the Eastern Fwy.
Also TOOLS driving V6 Commodores with P Plates who try to entice me into a Drag when I'm driving my Ford.

And another thing I recently hated was when SOME TOOL tried to do a LINE LOCKER at the D.O.V.W in Yarra Glen, while he driving through the pavilion.

His Gutless Car couldn't even get the wheels to spin so he did it on the gravel instead and sprayed about 6 Cars with Stones.
My Car wasn't sprayed thankfully, but I thought it was very IMATURE.

holden drivers
holden drivers that always have their headlights on in BROAD DAYLIGHT
the guy who almost killed me while trying to be hardcore by overtaking a bug doing the speed limit on the great ocean road (he was driving a holden)
holden drivers
the sleazy prick from apollo bay who almost started a pub fight last week on our schoolies trip
people who decide to cut blind corners on the great ocean road
motorbikes who lean into the opposite lane on the great ocean road

in other words, morons piss me off
and when i say holden drivers, i mean the hoons and not your every day driver

Well I suppose a fair number of people ordering pizza would have the 'munchies' for the same reason they forget those details LOL 🙂

I don't let anyone piss me off. I usually just ignore them, shrug my shoulders, smile, wave, laugh or if in the kombi - give them the peace sign.

Even if I accidentally did some thing whilst driving, if the other person gives a 'tap' on the horn, you know like a really small 'bip' where it doesn't even go off fully. I always wave a sorry, or whatever.

If they overreact and go off their head or hold their hand on the horn for something that is an honest and in my case usually not a dangerous mistake, that's when I never go off. I don't care if they go off. They can go off for the next 24hrs for all I care. They are the ones getting ill with angst.

I smile happily on my way watching them drive off in the distance growing ulcers in their guts with stress and bad vibes.

Oh yeah. That was just the car stuff. The same sort of principle applies in a lot of the rest of my life.

I thank checkout attendants. (if they have attitude I tell them to smile and be happy)

If I have to wait in line and get told at the end "sorry about the wait" I don't just mumble "That's alright" I usually say something along the lines of "you had to wait for me too, so thank you for waiting"

I think it makes a lot of difference in this world if we can be a bit more humane and a bit less human.

If I get asked for money by someone on the street. I hold out my hand and say "I won't give you any money, but I will shake your hand." I have never had anyone knock back the handshake or get nasty.

I won't do this with scagged out or overintoxicated people as they have no idea what they are doing and should be avoided.
