Thanks...tell me all you can...it's one of the coolest notches i've seen.

Any info would be great especially suspension info...has it got a narrowed rear.

They look like fairly wide wheels with still some room in the guards.

Of course it could be the angle of the pic.

Nah your dead right, It has a 8inch narrowed rear with IRS, and the whole pan has been moved upwards 6 inches. he is running Airbag suspension on the rear, and air shocks on the front. A hell of a lot of work, but it looks great. Its developed a little rust in the last couple of years so will have to be fixed soon...

was a cool (well bloody hot day), im wearing one brown arm anyway!!!!
pitty i took some none car enthusiast with me in the bus, next year will be a different story thats for sure....jenz, bel looked amazing and im glad she made it! also cocunut? looked awsome...it was great to see these cars up close, not just in the pictures here! great turn out on the type 3's hey! love em.....actually
there was a type3 fastback for sale (vwwagon plates, and located straight ahead when you come in the gates), and i didnt get a chance to talk to the owner or get any details, so if you know how i can get hold of the owner of this bueaty please u2u me or post it here....

Yeah-what happened to the split Beetle-I saw it come in and head to the swap meet end and when I went looking it was nowhere to be seen.I did many laps around the whole show and couldn't find it-wanted a pic.Where was it hiding?????

it was parked down the end near us infront of daves westy camper.
under the shade of the trees in the swap meet area.
it took off around lunch time though.

some people are like slinky's
they have no useful purpose
but they are fun to watch
when you push them down the stairs

Split was from NSW. It is a crotch cooler car, and had a Original (rusting) Bekowa Roof rack.... I asked around for the owner, but THen seen him drive off.......

the split bug belonged to Andrew Dodd of Sydney . I spoke to him early sunday morning and the 51' split cruised down from Sydney without a single hiccup . a little slow on the hills he tells me .' cant understand why'
