No, lyrics have been proven by proffesionals to have no impact on people in negative ways. T.V shows and films are more influencial than music. However anything is dangerous if you obsess over it. But even then, obsession at that level would involve obsessing over the band members and thus seeing that this is just an art form and the members are/were active contributing members to society.

They haven't released the names of the others yet. Dimebag was the first one who was shot, apparently 5 times and there are 4 others reported dead, no idea how many are other band members though. I did hear someone say on the Pantera forum that Laughman (the singer) was one of the fatally wounded, but so far no news stories to back it up.

i heard on the radio that he was pissed at dimebag over pantera's split.
also read that he had vinnie paul (drummer and dimebag's big bro) in a headlock and was about to shoot when the copper killed him....

just reading every bit of info i can find at the mo.
