Extreme Geocaching - Generally you only need a GPS. I tend to go a step (or twelve) further and take a laptop. The other one is a mates. We'd have one ona my lap to navigate and another on the fridge in the back that also navigates but stores the cache page database. It's a hassle getting in and out.

Ozi-explorer is a program that plots where you are, how fast and which direction, your altitude, nearby caches and anythng else you want to know (Speed cameras, 40 zones etc) on screen. GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife) stores all the cache pages from the web so we don't have to connect via Satphone / mobile while we're caching. you can see on the screen the yellow thing with a red line - thats us parked at a park at Lithgow.

Good stuff - We were trialing it in a mates Partol but I will have a single 12" laptop set up in the Baja running all this and playing all my music at the same time. No more bloody CD's sliding around on the floor. It's a spare $50 laptop so it's no big deal if it gets pinched.

I think I might be quite high on that test, but I have too short of an attention span to finish it, or even come close to finishing it.

The Bronze - Actually has very little to do with Mad Max.

Is a residual nick name from my time in the forces. I though having been in the Infintary I wouldn't have scored so high. I guess they let all sorts in.

25.24655% "Total Geek"

...what a joke.

I should be causing buffer overflows on these tests.

Ah well, the joys of not being a 'stereotypical' geek as I don't care/have never seen StarWars/Trek etc.

I somehow don't want to put my brother on this test. I know he'll fall down on the books and movies, but way over the top on the engineering and computer stuff... far too far over the top!!
